With a Distinction from The British College of Canine Studies, Dog Behaviour Practitioner Mark Ruffley has studied both 'reward only' and 'discipline-based' training methods.

He has since combined the two opposing practices to create a unique approach to dog behaviour that utilises the popular and successful reward schemes while following the scientifically proven and natural behaviours of a socially balanced dog group (the pack).

There is, currently, a great deal of controversy over which methods and practices are acceptable and successful.
